​Suchit Sahni was born in 1977, New Delhi, India. He received his diploma in Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts, New Delhi. Suchit shares a strong bond with the city, it’s a city where he was born and brought up and therefore has been a witness to its several transformations- urbanization, technology, stress, and the never ending influx of new hybrid cultures. Through his works Suchit endeavors to reveal the positive spirit of the metropolis as he observes and comprehends it. His works are mostly design driven and dominated by elements of geometrical patterns. Using bold, bright colors with the occasional hint of a figure or an object his works are primarily abstract. He attempts to create a space where the treatment is contemporary but the subject very Indian, therefore enhancing the visual delight in his works.
